Donna Phillips was the winner for October’s Block Lotto.

November Block Lotto was presented by Cindy R.

Snacks were provided by Ary Anderson, Leslie Swearingen and Donna Lee

Quilt con is in February in Austin, Texas.  Deadline for free registration to Quiltcon for MQG members is Nov 30.  As a BNMQG member you are also a member of the Modern Quilt Guild.

Nancy talked about participating in the Quiltcon quilt swap. Deadline was 10/26.

Reminder we have a closed Facebook group for members only – please request to join https://www.facebook.com/groups/BNMQG/ – The group allows members to chat about and share modern quilt ideas, files that include important info – newsletters, info for workshops, membership renewal forms, etc.

Reminder of the craft sale to benefit the church we meet in that will be November 1-2.  Thanks to all of our members who donated items!

June 2018 Meeting Reminder

Hello Modern Quilters!

I’ve been waiting all year for this month’s meeting!  Come to Kelly’s Bakery at 6pm on Tuesday June 26 for a celebration of our first exhibit! We’ll view our beautiful minis and FabricRaffle6-18have treats from Kelly’s. There will be a short meeting but no program.

Everyone who has a quilt hanging will be entered into the drawing for the Culcita Box which has 12 Tula Pink fat quarters!

We’ll have a special fabric raffle with 6 half yards of Cotton and Steel and solid fabric! That’s 3 yards of fabric, quilters!

Registration for the July workshop with Lynn Carson Harris will continue this month.

Nancy Powell will be presenting the next set of directions for the BNMQG Mystery Quilt that she has designed.  There’s plenty of time to join in!

January 2018 – Meeting Reminder

Do you enjoy a challenge? This month we’ll be announcing a Kona color of the year challenge for guild members. Come to find out all the details!

Also Donna and Nancy will have information on our first workshop of the year.

Meet us at Christ Lutheran Church, 311 N Hershey, Normal IL.

Social time starts at 5:30 and the meeting will begin at 6.

Can’t wait to see you!

Hope to also see you at the sewing day on Saturday, January 20th – come for part or all of the day!  We will be sewing at the church from 9-3.
