Programs: Radha Weaver of @sewingthroughfog will lecture on Upcycling on May 26. We will then have the kickoff of our own Upcycling Challenge! Monetary Prizes will be awarded!

On June 23, we welcome Daisy Aschehoug in person from Norway! Her lecture is entitled “Anatomy of a Curve.” A workshop on Giant Nested Curves is set for the next day. There is a waitlist for this workshop.

Then in July, we will be in the holiday spirit as we see demos and learn how to create three different kinds of ornaments for our tree for the Baby Fold’s Festival of Trees. We will also have our guild elections that night, so plan on attending this important meeting.

Community Outreach:
Tonight we will design our HeartBeat quilts for the NICU unit. We will donate 35 quilts this year. The Outreach Committee is also planning ornaments for our tree for the Festival of Trees. They will be the focus at the July meeting.

Kathy C has sign up sheets for the new Quilting Bees that will create quilts for several community organizations.

Sew Days: The next Sew Day is June 13 here at the church. The other upcoming dates are July 11 and August 8.
