We also discussed how important it is to support our local quilt shops. We are so lucky to have 4 in Bloomington/Normal! Check before you buy online–they have an incredible variety of modern fabric. Buy local!

The next QuiltCon Charity Challenge sew day is Thursday, August 4 from 9 to 3 at Boline’s. Thanks Becky!
Thank you members for your generous donation of your time and talents! We have three teams working on the Orlando quilts. Hopefully they will all be completed by our August meeting. All extra blocks will be mailed to the Orlando MQG as well.
We are gearing up to get back to work on our baby quilt program which Betty W has cleverly named “HeartBeat”. More material has been ordered, but meanwhile feel free to make wedge blocks! I’ll let you know when the next sew in is scheduled.
