Hello Modern Quilters,

Spring’s colors are blooming all around us!  What a great time for this month’s program–Understanding Color.  We’ll meet next Tuesday, May 24 at 6 pm at Christ Lutheran Church on Hershey in Normal.    Here’s what’s happening.

Program  Member Jessica Wickline will be presenting Understanding Color. Jessica will talk about color theory, color palettes and where to find them, and what color means to us. Really looking forward to her presentation!

Fabric Raffle This month’s fabric is so pretty! Love those colors!

Mystery Quilt  The final instructions for our Modern Mystery Quilt will be shared at the meeting. You’ll have two months to finish this time and we’ll have a special show and tell in July!

Block Lotto Don’t forget your Striped Corner blocks for Block Lotto. I can’t wait to see all those beautiful combinations of blue, green and purple!

Service Quilts  If you made blocks or took a quilt home to be quilted we will be collecting them at the meeting.  We will be taking them to the hospital soon!
